My patrons have voted for it and so it has come to pass: a new chapter of Ozymandias. Being proactive is always a good idea, isn’t it? In this case, it means that you don’t wait for the ravenous alien beasts constructs attackers to come find you. You’re already heading out to take a brief… Continue reading The Last Angel: Ozymandias, Chapter 10

Children of Heaven: Choir of Silence, Chapter 31
“Your sidearm, Corporal.” Natalya held out her hand towards the Marine next to her. Almost instantly there was the comforting weight of a Colt 997 in her hand. Optimized to function with power armour systems, it was awkward for an unarmoured human to use. That didn’t stop Archer from jamming the barrel up into Arykka’s chin. …they would all say she was escaping and a threat to others… “Do you trust me?” she purred.
Scars, Chapter 25
This month's first major update is here: chapter 25 of Scars, and the second-to-last in this arc. I hope you've enjoyed it so far, and if you're new (hey, it could happen), that you decide to check out the full story here. In either event, hope you enjoy this chapter! ~ As it studied her,… Continue reading Scars, Chapter 25
Children of Heaven: Choir of Silence, Chapter 30
Being persona non grata to her fellow officers did have some perks, Natalya had to admit. It allowed her a certain degree of freedom in her decisions, since she was no longer constrained by the thought of repercussions to her image or career. Her mother would be proud; she’d always taught her daughter to focus on the positive side of things. Oh, she was ostracized from official and unofficial gatherings, her security clearances had been revoked, people that she’d thought of as friends and comrades were suddenly too busy for a cup of coffee, let alone able to return her comms. She could handle it if it were just herself, but Donald, Li and the remaining captains in TF 111 were getting caught in the crossfire. Things had gotten worse since Newfounding; one or two incidents had bordered on insubordination.
The Last Angel: The Hungry Stars, Chapter 27
This month’s latest update is now live: Chapter 27 of The Hungry Stars. In this chapter, the infiltration of the Triquetran League’s largest cloning facility proceeds. Echo is forced to deal with hostile networks with on-the-job training and put the well-being of some squishy, easily damaged organics in fate’s hands. She doesn’t care for that.… Continue reading The Last Angel: The Hungry Stars, Chapter 27
Children of Heaven: Choir of Silence, Chapter 29
Moria MacLean whimpered, pulling her knees up to her chest. She knew she was better then this, she wanted to be better then this, but she was trapped, alone in the dark aboard an alien vessel. Her crew was dead or imprisoned. She squeezed her eyes tight, hoping, praying to whomever or whatever was listening that this was all a bad dream, that all she had to do was open her eyes and she’d wake up in a Concordat sickbay.
The Last Angel: Ozymandias, Chapter 9
My patrons just can’t seem to get enough of a heartfelt and emotional tale of mother-daughter bonding, so we’re back with more Ozymandias. That’s what it’s about, right? A parent and child who never knew the other existed coming to terms with this realization and finding their way through this new relationship amidst a whole… Continue reading The Last Angel: Ozymandias, Chapter 9
Children of Heaven: Choir of Silence, Chapter 28
“They must have picked up something,” Smithy mused. “Not enough to sniff us out, or they’d all be after us, but enough to make them curious.” “Should we respond?” Commander Alain Juchy asked, biting his lip. “If they hold to that course, they’ll pass within 10,000 klicks of us.” “No, not unless we know they’ve seen us. If we shoot them down, we’ll blow the ambush. Communications, see what you can do about jamming them, but don’t initiate until my order. Guns: stay on your count down to launch. Whatever happens, don’t abort. We have to get their big ships.”
Scars, Chapter 23
This month's next update, just in time for Halloween, is a new chapter for Scars, following up immediately after the events of last chapter: the ambush at the trapper's house, and a surprise guest on Jilene's property. For a look at what to expect, check out the snippet below but for the full story, check… Continue reading Scars, Chapter 23
The Last Angel: The Hungry Stars, Chapter 26
A new chapter for The Hungry Stars is here (and an update to another one of my stories will be coming before the month’s end). In this chapter, we’re completing shifting from slow build-up to payoff as story will be focusing mostly on Nibiru for some time to keep things moving on that front. I… Continue reading The Last Angel: The Hungry Stars, Chapter 26
